Wild 2, Hurricanes 1

The Carolina Hurricanes had a another frustrating game as they dropped a 2-1 decision to the Minnesota Wild on Thursday night.

It was the third consecutive loss for Carolina.

Once again, the team fell behind 2-0 as the Wild scored 2:55 into the game on an open chance by Yakov Trenin and then 39 seconds into the third period when a puck got by Frederik Andersen when he tried in vain to lay on it.

It seemed Minnesota goalie, Filip Gustavsson would get a shutout but Sebastian Aho finally got a shot past him with just 2:48 left in the game.
