As Brian reported yesterday, the NHL and NHLPA have negotiated a framework around a new collective bargaining agreement along with guidelines for returning to play to finish the 2019-20 season. The agreement could be ratified as early as this weekend. We’ll certainly pass along any news as it breaks, but in the meantime, here’s a tentative timeline for the rest of the calendar year, as reported by the NHL Insiders at TSN.
July 13 - Training Camp begins for playoffs
July 24 - Teams travel to hub cities
July 25 - Exhibition games begin
July 30 - Qualification Round begins
