The Carolina Hurricanes fell behind 4-0, eventually caught up to tie the game, 5-5, but ended up losing, 6-5 to the Stars in a wild and crazy game in Dallas on Tuesday night.
The Canes actually started out pretty well and got the first few shots on goal early in the game, but Dallas scored on their very first shot, and then on their second shot, just 26 seconds later to take early control.
Things didn't get better for Carolina starter Cam Ward, who allowed two more goals in the first period before leaving the game with a stat line of four goals allowed on just eight shots.
