After losing to the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday, the Carolina Hurricanes followed up by losing to the Buffalo Sabres, 4-2 in Buffalo on Wednesday night.
The Sabres are currently in last place in the Eastern Conference.
The Canes fell behind early once again as Ryan McLeod scored just 43 seconds into the game.
Buffalo would score twice more in the second, the second goal knocked in with just 3.5 seconds left in the period.
Down 3-0 in the third, the Canes finally started to cook.
Jaccob Slavin bounced in a puck past Buffalo goalie, Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, who was not exactly standing on his head this game, but he made the saves he needed to make.
