Rod Brind`Amour, who achieved sports immortality by raising the Stanley Cup in Raleigh in 2006, has another honor for his mantle: member of the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame. The former captain and current Hurricanes assistant coach will become the second hockey player to be enshrined, joining current general manager Ron Francis who was inducted in 2013.
