When chatting with Adam Gold on Monday Night, we eventually got to the priorities in the offseason for the Canes—specifically players that the Hurricanes have to sign. Jalen Chatfield was one of those two players (along with Jordan Martinook), and it wasn’t difficult to see why. I don’t think I could have nodded my head in agreement enough.
On Thursday, the Hurricanes have apparently made their first player move of the offseason—and the first of the new GM Eric Tulsky era—by signing Chatfield for three more years.
