Penguins 5, Hurricanes 0

The Carolina Hurricanes were due for a stinker of a game and that's what happened against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday afternoon as they lost, 5-0 at the Consol Energy Center.

The Canes were outshot, out-skated, out-special-teamed, and out-scored as the Penguins jumped over them in the standings with the easy win.

Eddie Lack was busy as he made 27 saves on 32 shots. Several of the goals were off of grade "A" chances because of turnovers in the Carolina zone.

The opposition seems to have the book on Carolina's goalies.
