Andrej Sekera wins it in overtime for the Oilers
The Carolina Hurricanes lost their second straight game in overtime, this time by a score of 1-0 to the Edmonton Oilers at Rexall Place on Monday night.
Former Hurricane, Andrej Sekera notched the game-winner off of a juicy Cam Ward rebound at 2:47 into the extra period. Ward had been perfect up to that point and made 26 saves on 27 shots for the game.
Coach Bill Peters seemed to go with a defensive strategy and he was playing two defensemen and one forward during the extra period this night.
