Kevin McGran of the Toronto Star: Toronto Maple Leafs GM Kyle Dubas said yesterday that at the moment he doesn’t want to trade forward William Nylander.
“I’ve been asked: ‘Do you want to trade him right now?’ And the answer is, ‘No,’ ” Dubas told the Star on Friday. “Circumstances can change. But it’s not in any plan or any discussion we’ve had that we’re going to trade any of these players.”
It’s believed that Nylander is looking for $8 million a season with the Maple Leafs coming in around $6 million.
