RALEIGH, NC – Don Waddell, President of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that Michelle McMahon will join the Hurricanes as TV/Web Host. McMahon’s primary roles will include serving as host of Hurricanes LIVE! prior to all of the team’s games on FOX Sports Carolinas and SportSouth, as well as hosting and producing video content for CarolinaHurricanes.com.
McMahon has been based in Chicago since 2012, working primarily at The Big Ten Network (BTN). At BTN, she produced content for and hosted the network’s weekly hockey and lacrosse shows, co-hosted the Women’s Sports Report and served as color analyst for the network’s volleyball coverage.
