Jonathan Quick proves to be too much for Carolina
The Carolina Hurricanes once again failed to take advantage of a team that had played the night before as they fell to the Los Angeles Kings, 3-0 on Friday night at the Staples Center.
Tyler Toffoli scored twice for the home team, who had just beaten the San Jose Sharks the night before. Toffoli has now scored in four straight games and the Kings have won four straight.
The Canes' record dropped to 2-5 and they remain one of the lowest scoring teams in the league.
