Jack Drury back to Hurricanes for two years

The ink wasn’t even dry on the announcement that Evgeny Kuznetsov was having his contract terminated before the Canes took advantage of the extra cap space that was coming to them.

Elliotte Friedman reported a couple of hours after the Canes made the Kuzy news official that Carolina and Jack Drury had come to a two year contract agreement.

Jack Drury and Carolina have settled on a two-year deal

2024-25: $1.775M
2025-26: $1.675M

AAV: $1.725M— Elliotte Friedman (@FriedgeHNIC) July 17, 2024

Drury was arbitration eligible and had opted for hearings, but the contact agreement avoids that for both parties.
