After a tough-fought 4-3 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins last night, the Hurricanes are in Philadelphia to complete their eighth set of back-to-back games on the season. It’s the Philadelphia Flyers who will be the opponent in the City of Brotherly Love. Carolina aims to put some distance between themselves and the chasing pack of the Metropolitan Division, and they can do that tonight.
Philadelphia has not had fun this season. Coming into this season with lofty expectations, the Flyers flirted with the .500 mark for the first month of the season or so, and since then they’ve just been hit by scoring worries.
