The Hurricanes added some more depth to the organization Friday, signing three forwards: Jeremy Bracco, David Gust and Sheldon Rempal to one-year, two-way deals.
Gust was with the Checkers last year, Bracco with the Toronto Maple Leafs’ organization and Rempal with the Kings’ organization. Bracco and Rempal will make $700,000 at the NHL level or $100,000 at the AHL level, and Gust $700,000 or $80,000.
The three’s combined 456 games of AHL experience should make them an ideal fit for the Chicago Wolves, an organization that prioritizes AHL veterans.
