The defenseman earns a one-way contract for $625,000.
Apparently, the Carolina Hurricanes liked what they saw of Michal Jordan last season. They just announced the re-signing of the defenseman to a one-year deal which will pay him $625,000 next year.
The deal looks to be a one-way deal which will pay him the same amount whether he stays in Raleigh or is assigned to Charlotte. That's putting a lot of faith in a player with 43 career NHL games. It also says a lot what they feel about Jordan since they refused to give a one-way deal to Brett Bellemore last offseason.
