The Carolina Hurricanes added some more scoring to their lineup with the signing of Lee Stempniak. The forward scored 19 goals and added 33 assists in stints with New Jersey and Boston last year.
His contract is for two years and will pay $2.5 million each season.
The 33-year-old has been around the block a bit. Last season was the best season he had scoring since 2010-11 when he scored 19 goals and 19 assists for Arizona.
