RALEIGH, NC – Ron Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has signed right wing T.J. Hensick to a one-year, two-way contract. The deal will pay Hensick $600,000 in the NHL or $250,000 in the American Hockey League (AHL) in 2015-16.
“T.J. is a good playmaking forward who adds depth to our organization,” said Francis.
Hensick, 29, led the AHL’s Hamilton Bulldogs in scoring in 2014-15, totaling 19 goals and 41 assists (60 points) in 75 games played.
