The Carolina Hurricanes announced on Wednesday that they signed center Brody Sutter to a one-year, two-way contract. Sutter, who brings a formidable 6'5 frame with him, notched 12 goals and 25 points in 45 games for the Charlotte Checkers last season.
He played in four games for the Canes last year and will be working toward seeing more time this coming season. Brody is the son of Duane Sutter, of the famous family.
