For the second second straight Thursday, the Carolina Hurricanes have re-signed one of their pending unrestricted free agents, inking winger Chris Terry to a one-year, one-way deal worth $875,000.
Last season was Terry's first full season in the NHL, and he registered 23 points (12 goals, 11 assists) in 70 games. Terry, 26, will likely fit in on the third line and on one of Carolina’s two power play units — in just 67:31 of power play time last season he finished with three goals and an assist.
His signing gives Carolina eight forwards inked to one-way deals.
