The Carolina Hurricanes selected Dominik Badinka and Nikita Artamonov with their first two picks on day two of the draft.
Badinka is a Czech born player now in a Swedish league. He has good size at 6’3 and skates well. He was rated as high as 24 and as low as 68 on various boards.

For the team’s second pick, they went for a promising Russian left winger, Nikita Artamonov. As a rookie in the KHL, his production was promising.
