This was a back and forth game and it was painfully hard stopping. I appreciate that the website is called Cardiac Cane, but this was a game that I could have done without the stress. In the end, the Hurricanes needed the extra five minutes of overtime but they complete the sweep of Pennsylvania in convincing fashion as they score a highlight-reel goal in the extra frame to claim the extra point.
This was a game where we saw the best of the Carolina Hurricanes and we saw a lot of what the team will need to clean up if they want to progress deep into the playoffs.
