The Carolina Hurricanes closed out their exhibition schedule with a 4-3 loss against the Nashville Predators on Saturday, clocking them in at a 1-2-1 preseason record.
Carolina iced a tweener group of mostly depth players and AHL-bound guys. Nashville opted for a veteran-heavy lineup, and that is likely what made the biggest difference in the finale.
