Hurricanes Dominant in 4-1 Win over Penguins

The Carolina Hurricanes' 4- 1 win does not tell the whole story of Friday night’s game.

The Canes were dominant from the opening faceoff through the final whistle. With a bounce here and there, Carolina could have opened the game up even more.

The Hurricanes started their six-game road trip on time, owning the start of the game.

However, the game was not always a lock. Pittsburgh struck first, catching Carolina on a line change with a great play off the boards in the neutral zone. Drew O’Connor found some space in transition and seemed to catch Frederik Andersen off guard, beating him high to the glove side.
