Carolina had a 4 game stretch that started with that second half of a back-to-back against Pittsburgh that they won in overtime. They cap it with a victory over the other team from Pennsylvania as they beat the Philadelphia Flyers 3-1 in a game that they absolutely dominated from start to finish. Carolina was the better team from the opening puck drop until the siren at the end of the game.
My major takeaway from this one is that the depth was able to power the Canes past in this one. With the fourth line grabbing a goal via Steven Lorentz, it was that group that would break the scoring open early.
