The Carolina Hurricanes released their roster for the 2019 NHL Prospects Showcase in Nashville this afternoon. After years of sending their prospects to Traverse City, Mich., for the annual tournament, the Hurricanes had previously announced that they would keep it closer to home and participate in Nashville instead. The showcase takes place from September 7-10, and all games will be broadcast live on the Nashville Predators website.
The showcase also features the Washington Capitals, Nashville Predators, and Tampa Bay Lightning. The tournament will rotate hosting duties between the four participants in future years.
