Hurricanes 8, Bruins 2

The Carolina Hurricanes continued their winning ways with a dominating, 8-2 win over the Boston Bruins on Thursday night at the Lenovo Center.

The Canes now have a record of 7-2, with five wins in a row.

Carolina jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the opening period, even though they had to kill off two partial 5 on 3 opportunities for the visitors.

Jack Roslovic opened the scoring 6:28 into the game, but the Bruins evened things up during one of their two man advantages when the puck got by goalie Pytor Kochetkov after bouncing off the leg of Carolina defenseman Jaccob Slavin.
