Once again, the Carolina Hurricanes fell behind 2-0 in the first period, but once again they fought back to take control of the game and eventually defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets, 7-4 on Thursday night at the Lenovo Center.
After another lackluster opening period for Carolina, the Canes dominated most of the second period to take over the game.
The Hurricanes outshot the Jackets 24-3 in that period as they lit up the scoreboard five times.
Seth Jarvis got things started with a powerplay tally just 2:48 into the period. Aho and Necas got the assists.
