The Carolina Hurricanes stuck with their game plan and finally got rewarded as they defeated the New Jersey Devils on Saturday night, 5-2 at the Lenovo Center.
The win gave coach Rod Brind’Amour 300 career wins. The coach accomplished this in just 488 games and was the fastest to achieve this in NHL history!
It didn’t some easy though as the Canes had to come from behind twice to get the win.
After the Devils scored early in the second period to take a 1-0 lead, Dmitry Orlov blasted in a shot to tie it up with just 30 seconds left in the period.
