The Carolina Hurricanes rested a few regulars and still continued winning with a 5-2 victory over the Blues in St. Louis on Friday night. They have now won four games in a row.
The win puts them just one point behind the New York Rangers for first in the Metropolitan.
Teuvo Teravainen, Jordan Staal, Brett Pesce and Jalen Chatfield all took the night off.
Rookie defenseman and newly signed, Scott Morrow played his first NHL game and did not look out of place.
Goalie Frederik Andersen stayed hot and made 29 saves on 31 shots, including one in particular which was spectacular.
