The Carolina Hurricanes dominated the Montreal Canadiens and went on to defeat them, 4-1 on Friday night at the Lenovo Center.

The Canes allowed a bare minimum “shots on goal” stat while outshooting the Habs, 11-4 in the first period and 9-3 in the second. They ended up with a 25-15 advantage for the game.

Frederik Andersen was not busy in net but was up to the task when needed as he picked up his sixth win in a row.

Rookie, Jackson Blake broke through with his first three point night (1G 2A), in his short career.
