Randi Griffin made history in the Winter Olympics and it did not go unnoticed by the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Griffin, from Apex, competed for the unified Korean women’s hockey team, scoring an historic first Olympic goal for her team. The Hall of Fame in Toronto has said it will place the puck in its World of Hockey display. The hall has a Year in Review display, and the puck then will go into hall’s Olympic history display.

The Koreans, seeded ninth, lost their first two games in the Olympic tournament, both by 8-0 scores.
