Ganly Added to Canes Rookie Tournament Roster

RALEIGH, NCRon Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that defenseman Tyler Ganly has been added to Carolina’s roster for the 2015 NHL Prospects Tournament in Traverse City, MI. Ganly will replace defenseman Noah Hanifin who is recovering from an injury sustained during USA Hockey’s World Junior Evaluation Camp in August. Hanifin still will attend and participate in the Hurricanes’ training camp in Raleigh, set to begin on-ice sessions on Sept. 18.

Ganly, 20, signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Hurricanes on June 1.
