The Carolina Hurricanes are set for a 7:00 PM puck drop on Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden for a key divisional showdown against the New York Rangers.
Playing their second game since the blockbuster deal that saw them acquire Mikko Rantanen and Taylor Hall, Carolina will look to bounce back from a 3-2 overtime loss to the New York Islanders.
This will be the third rematch this season of last year’s second round series in which the Rangers knocked Carolina out of the playoffs, and the Canes have emerged victorious in both games to this point, once in New York and once in Raleigh.
