The Carolina Hurricanes have now won two games in a row as they defeated the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday night, 4-1.
The win improved their record to 13-8-0 and helped to solidify their current second place position in the Metropolitan Division.
Goalie, Pyotr Kochetkov earned the win by stopping 28 shots on the 29 shots he faced.
After the Canes killed an early game penalty, Michael Bunting opened the scoring just 5:39 into the game with his 5th of the season. Bunting had to fill in for Andrei Svechnikov who could not play because of an illness, but he did not seem out of place on the top line.
