The Carolina Hurricanes were looking to change the script from their last two losses and started out strongly in the first period only to allow three straight goals in the third period as they fell to the Calgary Flames, 3-2 on Thursday night.
Bunting and Noesen had the goals for the Canes in the losing effort.
Just 2:10 into the game, Jack Drury won a draw to Jaccob Slavin who sent a shot toward the net. Noesen was able to tip it in to make it 1-0.
Six minutes and change later, Dmitry Orlov blasted a shot that hit Michael Bunting’s stick who was in front of the net and it was 2-0.
