Carolina lose 4-3 in the shootout in another game that kicked the opponent around for 65 minutes. Have we seen this story before? It’s just not good enough as the team gives up 15 shots while mustering 47 of their own and they lose, yet again. Dominating teams for 65 minutes and losing is becoming a theme and I really dislike it. This also spoiled the Carolina Hurricanes debut of Max Domi.
Carolina dominated the Dallas Stars for the duration of the game, but they couldn’t convert. There were great chances at 5-on-5 and during the 3-on-3 overtime that the Carolina Hurricanes wasted and just never seemed to have the clinical finishing ability that they would need to get the result they desired.
