The Lightning’s most recent loss was against the Hurricanes on Jan. 28 and they have now rattled off six straight wins and made it look easy. However, all six of those games have come against the bottom two teams in the division. In three games against teams with a winning record they are just 1-1-1. However, against the bad teams, they haven’t even been close. Eight of the Lightning’s nine wins have been by two or more goals. They can more than afford to drop some of the tougher games when they are getting the job done against the bottom of the division.
