The game between the Carolina Hurricanes and Detroit Red Wings that was postponed due to a malfunction of the compressor that cools the ice on Monday has been rescheduled to Monday, March 27, it was announced today.
The new date is one day before the Red Wings’ only other scheduled visit to Raleigh this year, and will cause the Wings to play games on three consecutive nights, although no travel is required for the two games against Carolina. For the Hurricanes, it makes an already busy month even more chaotic, with 17 games now scheduled - an average of one game every 1.
