Carolina Hurricanes: What’s Next for the Hurricanes After Loss to Florida Panthers?

After the Carolina Hurricanes’ positive five-game road stand, fans expected a decent outing against the Florida Panthers. However, this expectation was quickly snuffed, as the Canes were unable to produce a single point against a team that played the night before. Overall, the Cane’s seemed completely disorganized, as they repeatedly committed turnovers in all three zones, including Jeff Skinner’s neutral zone turnover that consequently led to the open net goal, sealing the Panthers’ win.

In a seemingly scoreless game, defensive play and face-offs ultimately decided the game. The Cane’s played well defensively, with the exception of the backdoor pass to Willie Mitchell.
