Before we get into the setup for tonight’s tilt against the Pittsburgh Penguins, a bit of news regarding the Hurricanes roster. Lucas Wallmark has been recalled to Raleigh to fill in for Marcus Kruger who has been sidelined with an undisclosed injury. Wallmark has been very solid this season with the Charlotte Checkers in the AHL, and could make his season debut with the Canes tonight if he makes it in time. Wallmark played in eight games during last season.
Even with Wallmark on the roster for Kruger, it is likely that Josh Jooris will draw back into the lineup at the fourth line center spot, but nothing has been confirmed regarding the Canes lineup.
