Fresh off of their holiday break, the Carolina Hurricanes look to win their third consecutive game as they host the Montreal Canadiens tonight at PNC Arena.
The Hurricanes have not only won their past two games, they’ve done so in convincing fashion, taking down the Nashville Predators and Buffalo Sabres after one of their most embarrassing performances in recent years up in Toronto last week.
For that reason, the Canes will ice the same lineup for the third straight game, a lineup that was described by Bill Peters this morning as their “best lineup” right now.
