Vincent Trocheck and the Carolina Hurricanes continued to dominate the Florida Panthers as they took both games in the short series and now the team will be turning it’s attention to the Detroit Red Wings.
The Red Wings will be the third opponent the Hurricanes host for their season-long homestand and Carolina will need to make the most of this mini series to remain in the driver’s seat atop the division.
Carolina Hurricanes (27-9-3) vs. Detroit Red Wings (13-23-6)
The Red Wings have given the Hurricanes a bit of trouble this year as Carolina only has a slight edge in the overall record at 3-2-0 and with just a +3 goal differential.
