The Carolina Hurricanes continued their busy offseason by signing restricted free agent forward Clark Bishop and restricted free agent defenseman Gustav Forsling to one year two way deals. The Hurricanes have also announced the signing of restricted free agent defenseman Haydn Fleury to a one year one way deal.
23 year old Clark Bishop split time with both the Carolina Hurricanes and Charlotte Checkers last season. Appearing in 20 NHL games Bishop tailed three points, a goal and two assists, while averaging 9:27 of ice time per game.
Bishop’s one year, two way deal will pay him $700,000 at the NHL level or $65,000 in the AHL with $80,000 guaranteed.
