Last night’s game against the New York Rangers was frustrating, to say the least. The Carolina Hurricanes scored the first goal of the game early on, but would ultimately fall short and lose the game in regulation, 4-3.
The Canes have an odd way of playing really well against some of the league’s top teams, but then falling short against teams behind them in the standings, or against teams that they absolutely need to beat (divisional rivals).
Tonight, however, the Carolina Hurricanes need to rediscover their intensity and overall gameplan. They haven’t looked too great the past few games, and something has to change fast; the Canes have one of the least favorable schedules in the league for the next month or so.
