The Carolina Hurricanes’ playoff run has been much publicized. There was no chance that anyone thought they’d make the run they did at the start of the 2018-19 season. However, they shocked everyone by making their push to claim a wildcard spot in the Eastern Conference.
Among many fans, thoughts were realistic. I, just like many others (including Petr Mrazek), were absolutely ecstatic to see the boys make it into the playoffs. I guess I also shared the same sentiments that just making it was a success in it’s own right, anything else is a bonus.
