Carolina Hurricanes: The Case of Justin Faulk; Trade or Extend?

After eight long seasons in the National Hockey League, all with the Carolina Hurricanes, Justin Faulk has finally played in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. As Faulk had 35 points in the regular season and +9 in plus-minus (the best plus-minus he has ever had), he contributed a lot in supporting this team to their first playoff appearance in ten years.

Faulk would not slow down in the Stanley Cup Playoffs; he registered eight points in 15 playoff games, and went +4 in plus-minus. A legendary highlight from the playoff campaign the Carolina Hurricanes went on was a breakaway finish by Faulk, with a hail mary assist from Warren Foegele that will not soon be forgotten.
