Considering how good Finnish winger Teuvo Teravainen was for the Carolina Hurricanes this season, the fact that he could still have room to grow is a scary thought for the rest of the Metropolitan Division. Teravainen and line mate Sebastian Aho had a tremendous season in 2017-18, and should only get better from here on out. Both Teravainen and Aho were far and away the scoring leaders for the Canes in 2017-18.
With 64 points on the season, Teravainen eclipsed his previous career high, that came the previous year, by a 22-point margin. His development into a top tier winger in the NHL only continues with his age at this moment.
