It’s been a big week for Teuvo Teravainen of the Carolina Hurricanes that continued during the Nov. 16 matchup with the New York Islanders on the road. He notched his first career hat trick on Nov. 13 in a 5-1 win over the Dallas Stars at PNC Arena.
Teravainen entered the contest with the Islanders with 99 points in his short NHL career. He’s got 38 goals and 62 assists after assisting a goal from Elias Lindholm on the power play in the first period. Sebastian Aho originally got the goal, but it was later determined Lindholm tipped it in front of the net.
