Everyone has heard of Raffi Torres. It’s not a secret that he’s an enforcer and often suspended.
The 6-foot, 215-pound wing turns 35 in early October and brings an experienced resume to Raleigh. The enforcer has played in 635 career NHL games.
Despite 635 games, he appeared in only 44 games over the last four seasons. This was due to injuries and a number of suspensions.

Some Carolina Hurricanes fans may remember Raffi Torres from the 2006 Stanley Cup Finals. He was an Edmonton Oiler.
Torres’ career began promisingly, as he was drafted fifth overall in 2000 by the New York Islanders.
