According to Chip Alexander of the Raleigh News & Observer, the Carolina Hurricanes and general manager Ron Francis have been in talks with Rick Curran, agent of UFAs Jiri Tlusty and Christian Ehrhoff.
According to the Tweets on Friday, Francis has shown interest in bringing back forward Jiri Tlusty and welcoming in veteran defenseman Christian Ehrhoff.
Curran represents Jiri Tlusty, traded to Winnipeg by the Canes last season. Curran says he has talked to Francis about Tlusty returning.

Not only has their been discussions between the two sides regarding Tlusty’s future, but apparently the plan from the the get go was for Jiri Tlusty to come back to Carolina, the place where he broke out as a reliable NHL player.
